OCALA, FL, FEBRUARY 28, 2019 - Ocala Health completed another phase of a $65 M expansion project at West Marion Community Hospital with the opening of 36 new beds dedicated to orthopedic services. West Marion Community Hospital has the number one joint care program in HCA Healthcare throughout the state, with over 15,000 total joint surgeries since 2009.

West Marion Community Hospital recently completed the following expansions:
- 9 emergency department treatment rooms (Dec. 2017)
- 4 operating rooms with 12 additional PACU beds (Dec. 2017)
- 36 inpatient beds and 8 step down beds (Mar. 2018)
