Ocala, FL – Ocala Health announces the appointment of Ann M. Szapor, RN, BSN, MBA to chief nursing officer for Ocala Regional Medical Center. Szapor will oversee development and implementation of the hospital's plan for the provision of patient care.
Szapor joins Ocala Health from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, NJ where she most recently served as assistant vice president of nursing for a 567-bed multi-site hospital. Prior to that, she was executive director of Women’s/Children’s Health Services at AtlantiCare, and earlier served in several nursing supervisory roles for New Jersey hospitals, Atlantic City Medical Center and Community Medical Center.
Szapor received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Villanova University in Philadelphia, and her master of business administration degree from St. Joseph’s University, also in Philadelphia. She is a certified Nurse Executive, Advanced, by ANCC, and has served as an advisor and board member to numerous community and industry-related organizations.
